YÜCEL HACALOĞLU PUBLIC LIBRARY (16 August 2021)

Our library was opened to the public on 16 August 2021. At Yücel Hacaloğlu Public Library, the KOHA Automation System provided by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism is used in line with the protocol signed with the Directorate General of Libraries and Publications.

Serving in a 245 m² area with an adult section, children’s section, study room, administrative office and kitchen, the library has a total indoor and outdoor capacity of 93 users.

The collection of Yücel Hacaloğlu Public Library consists of 6,000 books in the categories of philosophy, psychology, religion, social sciences, language, science, technology, fine arts, entertainment, sports, Turkish literature, foreign literature, Turkish children’s literature, foreign children’s literature, encyclopedias, catalogues and brochures. MEMBERSHIP AND BORROWING PROCEDURES

• Citizens can become members of our library by presenting their ID cards.

• The loan period for books is 15 days for each member. This period may be extended once only, for an additional 15 days.

• Members may borrow up to 3 books at any one time.

• Our library is open seven days a week from 08:30 to 23:00.

• Users are provided with up to 5 GB of Wi-Fi access per day.
