MEHMET DOĞAN PUBLIC LIBRARY

Our library was opened to service on 5 March 2022. At Mehmet Doğan Public Library, the KOHA Automation System provided by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism is used in line with the protocol signed with the Directorate General of Libraries and Publications.

Serving on an area of 440 m² with an adult section, a children’s section, two study halls, an administrative office and a kitchen, Mehmet Doğan Public Library has a total capacity of 130 people.

The collection of Mehmet Doğan Public Library includes a total of 9,000 books in the categories of philosophy, psychology, religion, social sciences, language, science, technology, fine arts, entertainment, sports, Turkish literature, foreign literature, Turkish children’s literature, foreign children’s literature, encyclopedias, catalogues and brochures. You can check the loan status of the materials in our collection via the “KOHA CATALOGUE” website.

MEMBERSHIP AND BOOK LENDING

• Citizens can become members of our library with their ID cards.

• The book lending period is 15 days for each member. This period can be extended once only, for an additional 15 days.

• Members can borrow a maximum of 3 books at a time.

• Our library is open 7 days a week between 08:30 and 23:00.

• Users are provided with 5 GB of Wi-Fi access per day.
