HÜSEYİN NİHAL ATSIZ PUBLIC LIBRARY

Our library was opened to the public on 11 May 2022. At Hüseyin Nihal Atsız Public Library, the KOHA Automation System provided by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism is used in line with the protocol signed with the Directorate General of Libraries and Publications.

Our library has a total capacity of 90 users, with a 60-seat adult section, a 24-seat children’s section and a 6-seat audio study area.

The collection of Hüseyin Nihal Atsız Public Library consists of 12,000 books in the categories of philosophy, psychology, religion, social sciences, language, science, technology, fine arts, entertainment, sports, Turkish literature, foreign literature, Turkish children’s literature, foreign children’s literature, encyclopedias, catalogues and brochures. MEMBERSHIP AND BORROWING PROCEDURES

• Citizens can become members of our library by presenting their ID cards.

• The loan period for books is 15 days for each member. This period may be extended once only, for an additional 15 days.

• Members may borrow up to 3 books at any one time.

• Our library is open seven days a week from 08:30 to 23:00.

• Users are provided with up to 5 GB of Wi-Fi access per day.
