FATİH LİBRARY 

Our library was opened in 1997. In line with the protocol signed with the Directorate General of Libraries and Publications, the KOHA Automation System provided by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism is used at Fatih Public Library.

Serving in a 250 m² area with adult, children’s and reference sections, 3 study rooms, an administrative office and a kitchen, Fatih Public Library has a total capacity of 96 users.

The collection of Fatih Public Library consists of 35,000 books in the categories of philosophy, psychology, religion, social sciences, language, science, technology, fine arts, entertainment, sports, Turkish literature, foreign literature, Turkish children’s literature, foreign children’s literature, encyclopedias, catalogues and brochures. You can check the availability of materials in our collection via the “KOHA CATALOGUE” website.

MEMBERSHIP AND BORROWING PROCEDURES

• Citizens can become members of our library by presenting their ID cards.

• The loan period for books is 15 days for each member. This period may be extended once only, for an additional 15 days.

• Members may borrow up to 3 books at any one time.

• Our library is open seven days a week from 08:30 to 23:00.

• Users are provided with up to 5 GB of Wi-Fi access per day.
