DENİZ DÜNYASI (SEA WORLD AQUARIUM)

Sea World Aquarium, Türkiye’s first and only aquarium with an educational mission, has 2,700 m² of indoor space and a total area of 4,000 m². The facility consists of 4 main sections: the marine fish area, the tunnel, the freshwater fish area, and a relaxation area that also houses crocodiles and turtles. The aquarium is home to 4,000 fish from around 150 species brought from regions such as the Indian, Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. The two Nile crocodiles, each approximately 1.5 meters in length, attract great interest from visitors.

Another important feature of the facility is its touch pools for children with disabilities. Koi fish, which are trained to take food from people’s hands, are kept in these touch pools and can be fed by children with disabilities.

The facility also includes a seminar hall where primary school students can watch educational documentaries and animated films about marine life and natural ecosystems in the seas.
