BASINEVLERİ PUBLIC LIBRARY

Our library was opened to service on 5 January 2025. At Basınevleri Public Library, the KOHA Automation System provided by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism is used in line with the protocol signed with the General Directorate of Libraries and Publications.

Located on the second floor of the Basınevleri Neighborhood Mansion, our library has a total capacity of 90 people, with an 18-seat audio study room, a 12-seat literature room, a 36-seat “Martyr P. Asb. Kd. Sgt. Ata GÖÇMEN” study room, and a 24-seat children’s section.

The collection of Basınevleri Public Library includes a total of 6,000 works for adults and children in the fields of personal development, philosophy-psychology, religious studies, social sciences, language and linguistics, natural sciences, mathematics, technology, art, Turkish and world literature, geography and history. You can access the “KOHA CATALOG” website to check whether the materials in our collection are available for loan.

MEMBERSHIP AND LENDING PROCEDURES

• Citizens can become members of our library with their ID cards.

• The loan period for each book is 15 days. This period may be extended once only, for an additional 15 days.

• Members may borrow up to 3 books at a time.

• Our library is open seven days a week from 08:30 to 23:00.

• Users are provided with 5 GB of Wi-Fi access per day.
